Tonight's sky

Cool astronomical alignments never look as impressive in a standalone photograph as they do in real life:
The Moon and Venus in the western sky, about an hour after sunset last night.

It helps to have a bit of context:
The Moon and Venus framed by suburbia last night, and somewhat overexposed.
Tonight, Saturn will join the array, and you can preview a map of that here.  Nice viewing if you're a person who likes to seize those "stop and smell the flowers" moments in life.
