Just as an FYI, I went back and did a comprehensive overhaul of my original cinder block garden post.
I've had about fifteen hundred unique pageviews on that one to date, and many people emailing to ask for building instructions. I fleshed out the original post in the hopes that all those other intrepid DIYers will be able to avoid the one significant flaw that I accidentally incorporated into my design.
Hindsight is always 20/20, especially when inspired by fire ants chewing on one's hindquarters.
